DISABILITY
DISCRIMINATION ACT
Through the Disability Discrimination Act, service providers are legally
obliged to consider the disabled and, since October 1999, "reasonable
adjustments" are required to ensure the disabled are not excluded
from access to services. This becomes mandatory from October 2004.
